As you go deeper and deeper into the cave, the light from outside slowly diminishes, leaving you almost blind. The only thing you can hear is the breeze flowing through the tunnel, the faint sound extremely loud to your ears against the surrounding silence.
Just as you start wondering if the cave is endless, you notice a faint, distant light : you start running, stumbling around in the dark trying to reach it. Suddenly, just as you were starting to discern the source of this light, the ground crumbles beneath your feet.
Your heart stops for a second as you feel yourself drop. Thankfully, a large, circular chamber was just beneath your tunnel, and you only fall a few meters, dropping on your back with an "oof" escaping your mouth. As you look around, trying to understand what you've stumbled into, you see that the light you were following came from this chamber: there are multiple paths leading out and deeper into the cave, all of them illuminated by a lantern. At the end of all of them, you hear echoes of distant voices, a sure sign that whatever path you take, you will find what you are looking for.
Still a little sore (and more than a little frightened) by your fall, you slowly get to your feet, pondering on which path to take. Looking up, you can see that you can actually climb the walls of the room and go back to your tunnel, which would bring you back out of the cave.
You can also take one of the paths in front of you : each of them is helpfully (?) labelled by a symbol drawn on a sign, planted in the rocky ground next to each lantern. What will you do ?
